The revelation that the organizers of Camp Gallipoli Foundation are under investigation for the possible misuse of tax payers money is glad news (Sunday Age, 24/4}. Those snake oil salesmen and pedlars of Anzackery whose saccharine jingoistic version of Anzac history was foisted onto 40,000 paying souls and who touched the department of Veteran Affairs for 2.5 million deserve all the condemnation coming their way. More fool DVA for buying into the scheme in the first place.
